Ann Faulds, Associate Director, joined PASG in 2001. She is an aquatic biologist with twenty-five years of experience in science instruction, coastal outreach, and aquatic resource education. She leads the Chester Pennsylvania Sea Grant Office, which focuses on improving the environmental and economic health of Pennsylvania’s eastern coast, 112 miles of coastline along the Schuylkill and Delaware Rivers in Bucks, Philadelphia, and Delaware counties. Faulds’ education and outreach activities include climate adaptation planning, watershed education, and AIS outreach. Other specialties include fish consumption risk communication; wetland, stream, and lake ecology; and aquatic entomology. Prior to working with PASG she taught in the Biology Department of West Chester University, where she received her master’s degree in 1998.
