Dave Skellie, Coastal Land Use & Economic Specialist, joined PASG in 2003. He is a grants writer and project coordinator with experience in coastal development and conservation. He leads efforts that pertain to coastal planning and tourism-related economic development, land conservation, and water quality improvements. His focus is on watershed tributaries and the seventy-seven miles of Lake Erie shoreline. Skellie is involved with projects that guarantee open space, wildlife habitat, and recreational access to area residents and visitors in perpetuity. His earlier career was as planner and planning director for twenty-nine years with the County of Erie. Dave received a bachelor’s degree in Regional Planning from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
