The Pennsylvania Sea Grant team is dedicated to promoting the ecological and economic sustainability of Pennsylvania's coastal resources through the development of science-based research, education, and extension programs.

We are scientists, educators and communicators who build bridges between science and people to promote the importance of maintaining sustainable coastal and river ecosystems for the health of our communities and families and to ensure a thriving economy.

Our work is supported by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Penn State University, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania Sea Grant puts science to work in communities throughout the state. Learn more about our work through our strategic plan. PDF icon PA Sea Grant Strategic Plan 2018-21.pdf
