Viewing the earth from space, it looks as though there is an endless supply of water. What you don't see is the seven billion plus people that are bringing a once flourishing ocean ecosystem to the brink of collapse. Over-population, industrializations, urbanizations, agriculture intensification, fossil fuel extraction, and water-intensive lifestyles are destroying this complex interconnected water system.
