Cassidy Property

Cassidy PropertyWorking on behalf of Millcreek Township, PA Sea Grant authored a grant application for DCNR funds totaling $217,000 which was submitted in April 2005. This grant application, which has since been matched with funds from PFBC and Millcreek Township, was awarded on August 29, 2005. The acquisition of this property, now known as Cassidy Park, enables the Township to preserve this former campground for recreational use and open space preservation in a rapidly developing part of the Township at the intersection of Zimmerly and Love Roads.  This property contains 22 acres of wooded area and floodplain, including 1500 feet of both sides of Walnut Creek.
