Once aquatic invasive species (AIS) become established, they can be very difficult, time consuming, and expensive to control or eradicate. Therefore, PREVENTION is our number one line of defense in the fight against aquatic invasive species!

Pennsylvania Sea Grant works with the Great Lakes Sea Grant Network, regional AIS panels, the Pennsylvania Invasive Species Council, state agencies, and other partners to provide education and outreach on preventing the spread of Aquatic Invasive species.

By remembering to CLEAN, DRAIN, DRY, you can play an active role in AIS prevention.
