Why: Intense storm and flooding events are happening more frequently than in the past and are expected to continue to increase into the future, threatening Erie’s homes, businesses, and critical infrastructure. The need for communities to prepare, adapt, recover, and thrive in the face of disastrous events is at an all time high. This summit will bring together members of the Erie community to discuss the actions needed to help create a hazard resilient and emergency prepared coastal community.
