Plastic Pollution Solution: One Small Change
Exhibit at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center
Erie – Plastic pollution in our waters has many effects on humans, wildlife, and the environment. To illuminate this concern and its local implications, a new exhibit, Plastic Pollution Solution: One Small Change, will be open for viewing from June 1 to October 31. The exhibit will be located on the second floor of the Tom Ridge Environmental Center (TREC) with free admission. It is open from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM daily.
The exhibit will showcase a large artwork funded by Erie Arts & Culture, and will include local efforts to address this issue and speakers. In addition, a free film, Plastic Ocean, will be shown on July 20 at 7:00 PM in the Big Green Screen Theatre. The film is sponsored by the S.O.N.S. of Lake Erie.
Partners sponsoring this exhibit are the Tom Ridge Environmental Center (TREC) Foundation, PA Department of Conservation of Natural Resources (DCNR), PA Sea Grant, Regional Science Consortium, Erie Arts & Culture, S.O.N.S. of Lake Erie, and Environment Erie.
