Amelia Beaumont

Amelia Beaumont joined Pennsylvania Sea Grant in October 2022 and works in the Lake Erie watershed as a watershed restoration and planning fellow.

Amelia earned a bachelor’s degree in freshwater and marine biology from Gannon University where she focused on building baseline stream data in Allegheny National Forest. In her position with Sea Grant her focus lies in creating baseline documents for additions of stream easements and gathering information on riparian buffers utilizing GIS programs. Amelia connects with local agencies and the public in order to discuss stream restoration and to plan for current and future projects pertaining to watershed restoration.
