PA AIS App Instructional Webinar
Don’t miss the opportunity to become an aquatic invasive species (AIS) detective armed with your smartphone! Identifying and reporting aquatic invasive species (AIS) at an early stage provides an opportunity for action that can prevent further establishment and spread to new locations. Pennsylvania Sea Grant has developed a number of tools to help improve early detection and rapid response in Pennsylvania, including the development of Pennsylvania’s Field Guide to Aquatic Invasive Species, and mobile AIS field guide applications for Apple and Android Phones.
This hour-long interactive webinar will provide a crash course on downloading and using the application, key features, how to properly report new finds, and what happens after a report is received. Become an active part of the solution to preventing the spread of AIS in Pennsylvania!
