Shelley Readel

Shelley Readel  joined Pennsylvania Sea Grant in 2006, and serves as fiscal officer. Shelley provides oversight and management of the fiscal and administrative operations of the program. Responsibilities include budget preparation, expenditure processing and monitoring, financial data reporting and interpretation, and recommending fiscal priorities to the director. She also documents cost share and processes the closeout of awards.

Prior to joining Pennsylvania Sea Grant, Shelley was the Information Manager for Penn State’s Plastics Technology Center for eleven years. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Communications from Grove City College and a Graduate Certificate in Management from Penn State Behrend. She also received her Certification for Research Administration (CRA) from Penn State University.
