Celebrate Pennsylvania Native Species Day by joining the Penn State Extension Master Watershed Stewards, Penn State Behrend Biology Faculty, and Pennsylvania Sea Grant for a native species walk. We invite you to explore the biodiversity of the Gospel Hill Golf Course property at Penn State Behrend, rain or shine. Don’t miss this free opportunity to connect with some of Erie’s native species experts in celebration of Pennsylvania Native Species Day!

Participants will learn about the importance of native species, how to identify them in the field, and ways to utilize them in backyard gardens and landscaping. Participants will also learn about invasive species, tips to quickly identify them, and best practices for managing them. Participants will also receive free native plant seeds!
